Digital Learning Object: William Shakespeare #1

So what are we doing in our English class? For the past week, we've been studying about William Shakespeare. But who's William Shakespeare?

William Shakespeare was an English poet, playwright and actor, widely regarded as both the greatest writer in the English language, and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national poet, and the "Bard of Avon". His extant works, including collaborations, consist of approximately 39 plays, 154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and a few other verses, some of uncertain authorship. His plays have been translated into every major living language, and are performed more often than those of any other playwright. (via Wikipedia)

However what is the importance of studying him? Well, William Shakespeare made a big impact and influence in our current English language and literature.

What am I learning?
I learned that William Shakespeare had a really interesting life when he was still alive.

Now I am wondering;
Did Shakespeare enjoyed his life?
Did he had any remorse in life?
Was he from a rich family or ancestry?
Did he enjoyed his fame during his lifetime?
