  1. Hi there Alyana,

My name's Jade F and I am one of the bloggers from Auckland for the Summer Learning Journey programme this summer.
WOW! This project looks so interesting! I'm quite scared of fire so I think this would be very helpful with facing my fear of fire! Great job on putting a big focus on safety in your post. I remember when I watched a science experiment in school using fire and gas; we had to make sure that we were wearing our science goggles and our sleeves were rolled back! Experiments with dangerous things such as fire need those warnings and information on how to stay safe around it.
I see that you have written down in your method that you wet your hands and forearms and scoop up bubbles. What are the next steps you need to take so you don't get burnt? I'm assuming you add the fire to the bubbles? Is that right?

Cannot wait to hear back from you and see more posts from you this summer!

    Jade F :)
