Group Performance Evaluation

1. Insert your video onto a blog post
 - Lost in Japan - Shawn Mendes (I cannot upload it directly on blogger because it exceeds the limit of 100 mb)
2. What was your grade? Were you happy with it?
- In our group performance, my group consists of 5 and 3 of us got excellence, 1 merit and 1 achieved. I'm one of those people who got excellence, and whose not going to be happy with it?! Yes, of course, I'm happy with it. To be honest I was only expecting to get a merit in our performance.
3. What were the challenges of working in a group?
- Us instrumentalists worked together really well with balance, dynamics and etc. but if we add the vocals together it kind of gave us a challenge on how to make the vocals suit the song. We know that they could sing it, but they at first they were still getting used to it.
4. What did you enjoy most about this task?
- I seriously enjoyed the thought of performing with other people on the stage. It removes some of the nervousness because you share it with your group (haha).

We're finished with group performance and next term we're going to a Solo performance, and I'm looking forward to performing Jump by Van Halen (also on the drums)

:)

  1. Alyana, this was such a strong performance from you on drums. You gave the group the heart, the beat and your skills shone! You understood the song and that showed in your presentation. I wonder if there is away to attach a link to your blog so that people can watch if they would like to? It deserves to be shown to the world!! :)

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
