Boat Practical

In wood work, we started our week with discussing with Mr Reese. We discussed the measurements first and Mr gave us a piece of paper with all of it's information;
This measurements is our guide throughout the practical and Mr Reese said to us that we can write some notes in it. The top one is the top view of the boat. and the bottom is the side view of the boat.
After the measurements, Mr gave us this paper too, which is the Outline Planning.
In this paper, we wrote our plans that we needed to do.
This is my work on our 3rd week. On our timber we measured it, as shown on top.
Gantt Chart
So what is a gantt chart?
A Gantt chart is a type of bar chart that illustrates a project schedule. Modern Gantt charts also show the dependency relationships between activities and current schedule status.
We use gantt chart as our guide during our lessons. This guides us what we need to do.
On our gantt chart, 1 box means 30 minutes. But were did gantt chart started?
Gantt charts were considered revolutionary when first introduced. The first known tool of this type was developed in 1896 by Karol Adamiecki, who called it a harmonogram. Adamiecki did not publish his chart until 1931, however, and only in Polish, which limited both its adoption and recognition of his authorship.
In 1912, Hermann Schürch (de) published what would be consider Gantt charts while discussing a construction project. It appears that Schürch's charts were not notable but rather routine in Germany at the time they were published. The prior development leading to Schürch's work is unknown. Unlike later Gantt charts, Schürch's charts did not display interdependencies, leaving them to be inferred by the reader. These were also static representations of a planned schedule.
The chart is named after Henry Gantt (1861–1919), who designed his chart around the years 1910–1915. One of the first major applications of Gantt charts was by the United States during World War I, at the instigation of General William Crozier.
The earliest Gantt charts were drawn on paper and therefore had to be redrawn entirely in order to adjust to schedule changes. For many years, project managers used pieces of paper or blocks for Gantt chart bars so they could be adjusted as needed. In the 1980s, personal computers allowed widespread creation of complex and elaborate Gantt charts. The first desktop applications were intended mainly for project managers and project schedulers. With the advent of the Internet and increased collaboration over networks at the end of the 1990s, Gantt charts became a common feature of web-based applications, including collaborative groupware. By 2012, almost all Gantt charts were made by software which can easily adjust to schedule changes. In 1999, Gantt charts were identified as "one of the most widely used management tools for project scheduling and control".

What is Arthritis?
Arthritis (from the Greek arthro-joint + itis -inflammation) us a
condition involving damage to joints of the joints of the body.
Arthritis literally means joint inflammation. Any joint in your body
can become inflamed or painful from arthritis.
There are more than 100 different types of arthritis and everyone can be a victim of arthritis, men, women and even children. But most victims of this disease are the Aged people. Incidences of osteoarthritis increase with age due to simple “wear and tear” on the joints – the older you are, the more you have used your joints
However, it is not an inevitable part of aging, because not everyone gets it.
So what are the different types of Arthritis? Here are some.
But, you dont need to panic.
PREVENTION is better than CURE.
So here are 2 ways how to Arthritis:
1. See your doctor;
- If you start to develop arthritis. See your doctor soon as possible. The longer you seek for treatment, the more destruction can occur.
2. Control your weight;
- The purpose of our knees is to support our body. Being overweight or obese can take a real toll on them. If you’re just 10 pounds overweight, the force on your knee as you take each step increases by 30 to 60 pounds.
Fact
After years of treatment, some people who suffer from various forms of arthritis have turned to unusual natural treatments that come from snakes, bees, and ants.
